Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Dear (potential) donor,

On the 4th June 2012 the 'Southdown-in-one-ers', aka Dave Lancaster and Mark Smith are attempting to cycle the length of the South Downs Way in a day.

We will begin our assault on the SDW at Winchester and finish 100 miles later (with aching legs and rear ends) at Eastbourne. Within the 100 miles are 13,620 ft of ascent and descent with the highest point at 890 ft above sea level. A look on the National Trail website suggests the ride is a journey of three days. We are aiming to complete the distance in one day.

Thanks for reading my page. We will both be grateful for any donation, however small.
