We have chosen the North London Hospice as our charity to support this year. The North London
Hospice cares for over 3,500 patients with a life-limiting illness every year and provides support
for their families, friends, and carers.
They are the local hospice for Barnet, Enfield and Haringey and have been supporting our
community since 1984. Their mission is to help their patient’s live life to the full despite their illness.
Their services are provided free of charge. It cost £14m to fund their care. With 40% of their funding
coming from the NHS, they rely on the generosity of the community to fund their work through
donations and fundraising, to provide the best of life, at the end of life, for everyone.
