Jersey Hospice Cycle Ecuador Challenge · 14 November 2009

Jersey Hospice Care offers specialist palliative care to patients with any life-limiting condition. Our aim is that patients are enabled to live the remainder of their lives to the full, to remain at home if they wish, and to die with dignity where they choose. Thank you

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I have decided (again) to go on a cycle adventure in aid of Jersey Hospice.

This time we are going to Ecuador and we will be departing on the 14 November 2009. The cycle route will take us 7 days to complete and will cover about 500km. We will start at high altitude in the Andes and then sweep down through the rainforest until we eventually hit the Pacific coast. The roads will be non existent and the mosquitos large but we will be camping which is nice.

The aim is to raise as much money as possible for Jersey Hospice. This organisation relies on its funding from quirky events such as this trip so I do hope that you will feel that it is a worthwhile cause to support.

Many thanks,

Mark
