<p>Thank you&nbsp;for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Nine months ago I was a couch potato, not really doing much&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; exercise at all, however when a very good friend was diagnosed with Mesothelioma, and I could see that she was going to battle with the disease and carry on living as long as she could, I thought it was time for me to do something for her and her charity.&nbsp;Having never run before in my life I decided to give it a try in September last year, and can now run 13 miles in under 2 hours so&nbsp;I will be&nbsp;running the Silverstone half marathon on 6th March 2011.</p> <p>Sadly Wendy lost her fight with life in October, but there is no doubt that she will be running beside me all the way.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
