<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 140%; margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; background: white; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><span style="line-height: 140%; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif'; color: #1c1c1c; font-size: 14pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;">On the 22nd April 2012 I’m running the London Marathon to raise money in support of the Children’s Acute Transport Service (CATS). CATS is the largest dedicated children’s intensive care transport charity in the UK, stabilising and safely transferring more than 1,100 sick babies and children each year to intensive care units in London and the South East.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 140%; margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; background: white; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><span style="line-height: 140%; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif'; color: #1c1c1c; font-size: 14pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;">My sister - Lizzy, brother-in-law - Rich and nephew - Stan, sadly lost their one-week old baby son and brother, Boris Oliver (my nephew), to acute viral myocarditis on 22 October last year. He was admitted to Stoke Mandeville but despite all their efforts it was decided that Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) would be better equipped to help him. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 140%; margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; background: white; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;"><span style="line-height: 140%; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif'; color: #1c1c1c; font-size: 14pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;">The CATS team showed immense professionalism and compassion as every effort was made to transfer Boris to GOSH before he tragically passed away. My family will always be grateful to CATS for their support and the fact that Boris was able to die peacefully and in dignity with his family around him.</span></p>
