Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 23rd September 2017 I will be flying out to Kathmandu, to acclimatise before catching a short flight to Lukla Airport - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y14LkCJd7-4
Lukla Airport is renowned as the most dangerous airport in the world, so hoping I survive landing this will be the start of my base camp trek. I will trek for 7 days through the Himalayas to reach Everest Base Camp at an altitude of 18,000 feet, where I will be planting the Royal Mail flag and taking a 'selfie' as evidence. Then its another 7 days trek back through the Himalayas to another nail biting encounter with Lukla Airport, arriving back in Kathmandu, Nepal and the end of my expedition.
Whilst undertaking this gruelling challenge I will be raising money for Action for Children, Royal Mail's charity partner. Please would you kindly sponsor me; however much you'd like to give would be greatly appreciated for this fantastic cause.
Thank you!
