  • Hi there my wife very kindly purchased a tandem parachute jump and life insurance policy for my birthday! For those of you who know me I'm a bit of an adrenalin junkie - so this seems to be just the ticket!

    As the cost of the jump has been covered, I thought it would be a good opportunity to see if I could riase funds for 2 charities

    Firstly Garden Organic - where the money will be used at Ryton Gardens in the new Compost and Soil Fertility Garden which will be opening in spring 2012

    Secondly Action Aid - a chairty I have supported for a number of years.

  • Unfortunately I waited for 6 hours to to my jump, but strong winds and cloud meant I would have to wait for another day - so I'm booked in for Saturday 3rd December - fingers crossed the weather is decent!!
