That's the standard blurb above.
I've avoided sponsorship for my running for a while now, even when my kids school rang to ask if I could run on their behalf as my eldest, Alex, had told them how I'd won a Marathon at the weekend. Er not quite I came 1256th in a 10km run!! Amazing how kids believe everything you tell them.
Aviva Leeds are this year supporting Leeds Childrens Charity, I've asked if they'll take my two but apparently that's not how it works. So instead of that I'm running three ten kilometre run's over my three free weekends, started with the Jane Tomlinson run in Leeds, second one the Brinsworth 10km on Sunday 3rd July, and culminating with the Great Bramham run on Sunday 17th July, for "serious" runners. Me, serious?? Unlikely. And cherry scones are good as part of a healthy diet.
Please donate generously, be reassured in spite of my scouseness I don't get to pocket any of the money raised. To make things a bit more interesting to anyone sponsoring me £5 or more, please add a comment of what time you think I'll finish the Bramham Run in, anyone getting this exactly right will win a bottle of single malt whiskey. The good stuff, not the stuff with no label that my mum used to buy down Birkenhead market that makes your vision go blurry. And no it's not a miniature.
Finally (!), thank you!
