Story

In 2007 my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer while I was in my first year of University. This was an extremely hard time for the family and given my location in Exeter I was unable to support my mum as much as I would have liked! Over this time the Breast Cancer Care website was so helpful as she was able to talk to others in her situation which gave her extra support and reassurance.

Although I have ran in numerous 10km races and a few half marathons, this is going to be by far the toughest endurance event I have completed. I'm running tough mudder a few weeks later so my opinion may change then! I have never asked for money before but given the challenge and the chance to support a charity that is so close to the family, I couldn't resist! Running for Breast Cancer Care, a charity that is still so helpful to her now, means so much to my mum and family.

I know money can be tight over Christmas and in the new year but I really would appreciate even the smallest of donations! Completing this will be hard enough but knowing I am raising money for Brest Cancer Care will make it so much easier!
