Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are running in aid of The Prostate Cancer Charity in memory of Pete's father and Mark's grandfather who both sadly passed away having suffered with the disease.

  • Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK and the charity's mission is to fight prostate cancer on every front – through research, support, information and campaigning.

Please help us make a real difference to somebody's life. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now.

UPDATE:

Two down and one to go!! We have now completed  the Bristol Half (Sep '09) and the New York Marathon (Nov '09) and are now up for the Bath Half in March 2010.

We finished the first leg (Bristol Half) in 1hr 49mins

New York was amazing "totally awesome" as the locals would say. Mark finished in 3hr 55mins and Pete (having set a new world record for stopping to go to the toilet in all 5 boroughs of New York on the same day) came home in 4hr 19mins. Many thanks to our families who were there to cheer us on.
