Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for the 2010 London Marathon.
I'm pleased to say I completed the marathon in 3 hours 20 minutes and 3 seconds! I finished in 2938th place out of over 36500 finishers so well happy! It was an awesome experience and the crowds were amazing! I still need to do a bit of work however towards my £1350 target for Kent Association for the blind.
Someone in the UK starts to loose their sight every 15 MINUTES. Many eye conditions are age-related, so with an ageing population the need for help is growing all the time. People who are blind or partially sighted don't want or need pity, they want to know how to get their lives back and how to adapt to keep in contact with their world and not to be isolated from it.
