We have everything we need at home, so we'd much prefer donations to our chosen charities for our wedding.
The value of the donation is not important - as little or as much as you like - as the saying goes 'it's the thought that counts'!
The Police Dependants Trust provides funds for the dependant famillies of police officers who have died on duty or been killed in the line of duty. It also assists the dependants of officers who have been incapacitated through injuries sustained in the line of duty.
Naturally, this is personal to Mark, and although we don't anticipate personally benefiting from this charity (we hope!) Mark has known of several cases where this support has been of immense benefit.
