I have decided to run the Silverstone Half Marathon for a third time in March of 2013. I know this marathon well from the previous two runs of the course in 2010 and 2012 but this time it's a lot more personal to me.

My Grandpa sadly passed away in July of 2012 from Cancer, and along his battle with the disease he and my family were supported by Macmillan (who do a superb job of supporting families through a really tragic and tough time). I want to run this half marathon again in his honour and also to raise a lot of money for an organisation that helped my and many other families over the years.
