The Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge · 20 June 2012

Simon On The Streets provides emotional and practical support for people with complex needs who cannot or will not access other services. Within that group it focuses on people who are homeless and rootless, especially those with issues related to rough sleeping.

Story

Just back from a training hike down in Derbyshire. I'm taking it seriously to support rough sleepers.

On Saturday 8th September, a group of friends will be undertaking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge. 3 big peaks, 24.5 miles - in under 12 hours.
Two of us (Mark and Jenny) are raising what we can for Simon On The Streets.

Simon on the Streets offers street-based support for those in need. They work across Leeds, Huddersfield and Bradford providing front-line emotional and practical support for those who need it.

I know (personally) that we are all stretched on the money front nowadays - but if you can sponsor us for even a small amount it will really make a difference to some very vulnerable people.

I'm reasonably fit (aside from the hypertension thing) but I'm no mountaineer. So it really will be a big challenge!

So please dig deep and donate now. Thank you
Mark (and Jenny).
