As part of a team of 22 riders, including several former RL internationals, I shall be heading out from Media City, Salford on Monday 20th August to cycle, mainly off road,    heading for Wembley Stadium ahead of the Challenge Cup final. Due to the rural route being taken, a distance of 300 miles will be covered, as well as climbs totalling 15000ft. RL Cares aims to reach out to every member of the Rugby League family, through raising awareness of health issues, helping the grassroots game raise the funds they need to grow and flourish, and ensuring players get the most from their involvement in Rugby League both during their careers and post retirement.
