This is just a quick thank you. But to everyone who has supported me and donated money to my event, I could not have done it without you all. Knowing how many people in the AWF and back home were cheering me on and getting behind me helped me so much when the Volcano tried to best me.

Hey guys and girls

I'm going to be climbing Teideonthe 8th of september in the night.

Teide is the volcano at the top of Tenerife, it's 3718m and casts the longest shadow in the world, its also active and is 2 years late for an eruption so this should be fun.

I'm doing this to try an raise money for the AWF (the Atlantic Whale Foundation). It's a charity that does conservation work to protect endangered animals around the globe, The charity has a permanent base in tenerife and is working to increase understanding about conservations issues and to gain data on short fin pilot whales so that they can be better protected from whaling.

All the money that I raise will be going to projects around the world made and run by volunteers who are trying to make a difference.

Ohh and as a side note
I'm climbing this volcano in a Calima which is a saharan wind that will increase the temperature to something like 40*C so that is just another added difficulty to doing this :')
