I'm the first to admit that I'm not built for long distance running and training hasn't exactly gone to plan for this race (not good at getting up early in the morning and pub is often to inviting in the evening).  So, I know the Edinburgh marathon on Sunday 11th June is going to really hurt.  However, if you give generously then it will spur me on and help me get over that finish line.

12/06/06: I did it ... I ran the marathon in sweltering temperatures of over 26c, but finished in 4h 47mins ... please see www.aberford.net for photos from the day.
