<p>Update:</p> <p>A big thank you to all who supported me in this event. I had a great time - gave my all and just missed out on the 2 hour mark, but even the winner found that hill hard going!!!</p> <p>More importantly the money raised will bring relief to those who&nbsp;have nothing.</p> <p>Who's for next year?</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Even in these tough economic times I am conscious of those who really have nothing to live on through poverty or disaster. That's why I am running the BUPA Great Birmingham Run this year for <a title="TEAR Fund" href="http://www.tearfund.org">TEAR Fund</a> who seek to bring relief to those in poverty.</p> <p>I completed the race in 2009 and am hoping this year to break the 2 hour mark (it's going to be close I think). I am sure the atmosphere will be terrific and we will have a great time anyway.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
