Zambia Bike Challenge 2011 · 20 May 2011

Our vision is an Africa where every child has equal access to quality education, as we believe education is the key to overcoming poverty. We provide infrastructure and empower whole communities to transform schools into thriving learning environments that build brighter, better futures.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In May 2009 I participated in the Zambia Bike Challenge - a 500 km bike ride for African Revival that took our group across the scenic countryside of Zambia - and the odd road as well. I am repeating this experience in 2011, despite my memories of the 2009 event!

This event will have further significance for me, as I will be riding in honour of my father, who passed away in December of 2010. A photo of my Dad is at left, taken in Italy during WW II.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
