Pregnancy does crazy things to the body and mine has been left a bit battered, but I'm grasping the nettle and hanging the consequences as I take on the Derby 10K to raise money for Sight Support Derbyshire (formerly Derbyshire Association for the Blind). I have chosen this charity because I know a couple of people who, in later life, have lost or are in danger of losing their sight.
