Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have struggled to do much exercise since giving birth to my two girls. Pregnancy does crazy things to the body and mine has been left a bit battered, but I'm grasping the nettle and hanging the consequences as I take on the Derby 10K to raise money for Sight Support Derbyshire (formerly Derbyshire Association for the Blind). I have chosen this charity because I know a couple of people who, in later life, have lost or are in danger of losing their sight. It's with the support of organisations such as this that they've been able to face the change in their circumstances with fortitude and resolve.

I hope you agree this is a worthwhile cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
