Me, 8 of my closest friends, and Teasdale are running 5000 miles (500 miles each) in 2014 for various charities.

My chosen charity is Prostate Cancer UK, and everyone should already know why they are a more than-worthy charity to raise money for.

This is a big challenge for us because most of us are not 'proper' runners, but by the end of 2014, we all will be.  All of the 5000 miles will be 'road miles' - no treadmills allowed - and this will include normal runs round the doors, the Blaydon Races, The Great North Run and various other events throughout the year.
