Story
Last year my wife's cousin was diagnosed with a brain tumour in february and died in december after a courageous struggle. She received wonderful support from her local hospice throughout her illness and spent the last two weeks of her life in the comfortable serene surroundings of the hospice itself and was never short of visitors who were made most welcome.
So many of us have relatives or friends who have benefited in some way from this wonderful service.
Many thanks to all. Just to let you know the ride was completed at 6.30pm on May12 after 1414 miles of cycling. Spain sure is hilly! No mishaps, no punctures, 22 days riding, 4 rest days. Longest day 87miles, shortest 43 miles. Maximum descent speed 55mph. Longest climb 12 miles. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have now raised £857 for St Margaret's Hospice. They will of course benefit from all your generous donations. So once again, thanks to all who have supported the venture!
