<p>I am the Flood and Swiftwater Rescue lead for ERT-SAR and this is what we do and why I need your sponsorship.</p> <p><span style="color: #1c1c1c; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 16px; background-color: #ffffff;">The Emergency Response Team - Search and Rescue is a national and international Disaster Response charity and NGO (Non-Government Organisation). It's members are specially trained volunteers who have worked all over the UK &amp; in many major disasters such as the Tsunami, Pakistan earthquake &amp; Haiti. We are also a registered team on the DEFRA National Asset list which means we can be asked to respond to flooding all over the UK. We fund all national and international deployments by charitable donations, at this time the team is raising much needed funds to update our current equipment and if we were to reach the taget set on this page we would be moving in the right direction to meeting our overal fundraising target set for this year.</span></p>
