Story

Hello again! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I know I said when I finished London last year that I'd never do another marathon. But this year I needed a new challenge, so I chose to run a marathon in the Lake District. No crowds of beer and bbq guzzling londoners this year, just a "small" event with about 1500 runners in Lake Windermere.

This event is organised by Brathay Trust, who are helping thousands of British kids make positive choices. These are kids who have taken some wrong turns in life, or grown up in poverty. Brathay give them a second chance (and sometimes a last chance) to get some training and make something of themselves. Find out more at www.Brathay.org.uk

All the runners raise money for Brathay Trust - please help me to help them by donating on this page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
