41 Sqn was formed on the 14 July 1916 in St Omer, France. To commemorate this occasion a team of 15 personnel from 41(R) Sqn are attempting to cycle from their current base at RAF Coningsby to St Omer, France - in just 3 days. We aim to arrive in the town on the 95th anniversary.
All the proceeds collected will be going to RAFA; The RAF Association.
Please give as much as you can for this cracking charity, and a little more for the foolhardy souls willing to risk the ability to walk properly for a week? We'd all really appreciate it!

The photo's on this page depict our flagship aircraft with a 95th anniversary painted tail. Also are some of our beloved GR9 Harriers which we sadly lost at the end of 2010. RIP little airplane... We miss you.
We are building up to the event, getting in some good miles in the saddle and "genning up" on re-hydration, nutrition, group riding techniques and camping skills to get us through the nights. Thats right, no fancy hotels and deep muscle massage recovery for us! As all this happens I will endeavour to put up some more cycling related photo's for your viewing pleasure. So feel free to come and check on our progress.
