My story
I will be taking part in an abseil from Peel Tower in Ramsbottom on 3rd March on behalf national disability charity Motability. Motability provides help for disabled people in three different ways, they help with essential adaptations to vehicles, provide financial help towards the cost of a larger vehicle and they also provide grants to help with driving lessons. The voluntary income Motability raise helps a small group of 5,000 customers who are the most vulnerable on the Motability Scheme these people would not be able to enjoy the personal mobility they deserve without Motability’s help.

Motability is a national charity helping disabled people in the UK achieve personal freedom and independence through the provision of vehicles and powered wheelchairs. Each year we have to raise £2.4million to help 3,000 disabled people to become mobile.
