Martin has been up as far as camp 3 and is now down in base camp resting up before the summit push, he is phoning home once a week, or trying too, we are still actively collecting and our good men at the fire station are going to do a few more collection days in Milton Keynes, please dont hand donations to others to pass on as they may not be credited to Martin, you can hand donations and cheques to his wife Dawn at Homespun Crafts, 56 Queensway, Bletchley.

Everest is 8,800m high and I am looking to raise £1 for every meter to boost the Firefighters Charity Funds, I have completed 17 years of service as a retained firefighter based at Broughton Milton Keynes, I have seen first hand of the help and support the Firefighters Charity gives.
You can keep track of my expedition on Everest through my website www.martinoneverest.co.uk were I hope a weekly diary will be updated, I aim to start my trip on 29th March 2010 and return home 7th June 2010 after summiting.
