Story

Hello guys and girls,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my justgiving sponsorship page!  On the 15 April 2012 I’ll be attempting to complete the Paris Marathon! As I am sure many of you know this will be my 2nd full marathon. This time I am going to train harder than ever and hopefully break the illusive 4 hour barrier!

I will be taking on this exciting challenge as part of the 2012km in 2012 team - a 50 strong team, formed with colleagues from across the EDF Group.

As well as training hard I will be fundraising even harder in order to raise £1000 for ParalympicsGB!  The great news is that as I’m raising money for our company charity partner, all the money that is raised will be matched pound for pound!

ParalympicsGB is an incredible charity – they are a team of just 23 people - so hopefully this reassures you that the money raised won't go to marketing campaigns or tv adverts but towards supporting people with disabilities to compete in sports across Britain.

Not only do ParalympicsGB help athletes be as best prepared as they can for the Paralympic Games, they also champion disability sports at a grass roots level, helping people to see past the disability and see the person.

Please sponsor me generously! Your donation will make a big difference and will give me the edge when training through the wind, rain and snow this winter.

Cheers
