We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The 2010 London Marathon will take place almost exactly 2 years after our daughter Rosa, who was 10 back then, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes; and it will be my first marathon since then. She has truly been an inspiration to all of us, in the way she has coped with her diabetes and continues to live life to the full and succeed in everything she does.

I am raising money for JDRF, a great, active and well-organised charity that is specifically striving to find a cure for type 1, or juvenile, diabetes - only about 10% of diabetes sufferers are type 1.  It also offers great advisory services.

Just visit  http://www.jdrf.org.uk/ to check them out.  JDRF is the world's leading charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

And thank you again,

Martin
