Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
We are joining our good friends the Cook family and a load of other intrepid paddlers to canoe 100 miles of the River Wye to raise money for Acorns children's hospice.

On 5 January 2005, their beautiful girl, Amy Lauren Cook was born, but they quickly realised something wasn't right. By the time she was 4 months old, they were told she wouldn't live beyond 8 years old and her condition would remain undiagnosed until the day she died.

Sarah and Richard are an inspiration to us and Amy was the bravest little girl I have ever known - we'll never forget her. Acorns were there when Sarah and Richard needed them most and we want to help them to give a little back.

Please help us by giving a little to give a lot back. Every penny counts.
