Vienna Marathon · 15 April 2012

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Pierre Sautriot and Michael Greaves are joining Martin in running the Vienna marathon on April 15th. Sponsor us and we'll run faster!

We are running the for the Leukaemia and Lymphoma research. Cancer is a disease that has affected people close to us.

People of all ages are affected by blood cancers each year - from the tragedy of young children being afflicted, through to those at the end of their lives.

Have a look here to see an example of one of the brave families affected.

The target is not big, but any donation goes to a very worthwhile cause.

50 pounds buys a full set of patient information booklets to support patients and families affected by blood cancer.

100 pounds supports a phd student to conduct research for a day.

250 pounds can buy a week's essential laboratory supplies.

Please give something - it can be big - e.g. 20 pounds, or it can be a smaller donation e.g. 5 pounds, but think about it and if you can, make a donation or donate to another charity you value.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
