Right gang...,most of you know Steve Darling and therefore knew Steph. For those who didn't Steph is pictured here with myself and Steve (her widower). She died in January this year of a very rare form of cancer, sarcoma. After her death I decided I wanted to do something positive in her memory and try and raise some money for the charity that Steve and all the family have been working with since Steph was diagnosed, The Sarcoma Trust. It is a fairly small charity and so needs all the help possible both in terms of funding and raising awareness .
I have never run a marathon so this is a challenge for me, but I thoroughly intend to do it and hopefully in less than 4 hours, but getting round is the main goal, so I am off to New York for the 1st November to shimmy round the 5 Boroughs. This is a race that Steph herself ran so it is very appropriate. So get ya wonga out! Love to you all.....
