<p>I am walking the IOW coast path (67 miles )starting on the 10th september to raise money for HASAG which is an organisation that supported me in 2010 when i was diagnosed with mesothelioma . This is a form of lung cancer which is brought on by exposure to asbestos. I had 6 mths chemo last year which for the time being is holding things off although a couple of small tumours have raised their ugly head . There is a sad lack of supportive funding for this industrial disease . more research needs to be done.</p>
