OK, I appreciate I am not taking on a daunting challenge like climbing Everest or following the Amazon from source to end but waiting for a cricket ball to come at you at over 80mph when the last time I held willow was over 30 years ago is daunting enough for me. Taking that walk back to the Pavillion after a golden duck will seem like a very long and lonely experience. Similarly being hit for 36 in one over will be very embarrassing. I also promise not to bowl a no ball with the 2nd delivery of my 3rd over !!!! So it's a bit of fun but it's for a great cause. Thanks in advance for your generous donation.
