Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. During 2012 I will be doing various running events.. the next big one is :-

The Edinburgh Marathon on May 27th (26.2 miles)

Doing any big running event like a marathon is an achievement. But running one for a charity makes it a completely different experience. Jane at work told us about her 2 year old nephew Will suffering from Dravet Syndrome, a rare & devasting condition, causing severe epilepsy and later on physical and mental development issues. Dravet Syndrome UK helps those affected, publicises the issues to the public and fund research.

I'm raising money for all the little ones like William, and so people are more aware of Dravats Syndrome. Running a marathon is tough but if I can use even a tenth of William's bravery & strength for 3-4 hours, then it will surely be easy. I'm proud to be a member of William's Warriors.

This will be my second marathon , I've trained really hard, fittest I've ever been. I'm hoping to knock a huge chunk off my time last year. To give you an example of how hard.. Usain Bolt running 100m, he'd be trying to knock more than half a second off... So Usain.. clearly you need to try harder! And whether I end up running this event fast or crawling to the end on my hands & knees I wont give up.. I'm running for William.
