Story

Hi.

Thanks for coming. I'll keep this simple.

Please would you consider sponsoring me to run 15 marathons in 19 days in Nov 2011? (this includes international travelling time) 5 of these will be in cities in the UK, 5 will be in Australia and 5 will be in New Zealand.

I'm doing this to raise funds and awareness for the fantastic charity, Christians Against Poverty, which helps thousands of people in crippling debt and personal circumstances across these three countries. You can find more about what CAP does here - www.capuk.org.

You can find out more about the actual runs here - http://www.cap15.org/ (hint - I'm not the guy in the picture) but please donate through my just giving page rather than the one on this site.

This challenge will mean a years worth of intense training, running marathons with jetlag, running marathons at 3 am, running marathons in the heat of Oz and the cold of Britain. 16 extra training marathons between Feb and November, ice baths, as well as injuries and personal health risks to the team. (there are 3 of us).

Please, please, if you think it is worth it consider making a donation. It will have an unimaginable effect in encouragement to me and more importantly will help people who are living in poverty and fear - even in our western society.

I'll be posting regular update and training videos on facebook and the like for those that are interested.

Thanks for considering!

Martin
