My story
My brother and I have entered the Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon on Sunday 26th February 2012 in order to raise money for the LATA Foundation.
LATA Foundation is a UK based charity which helps projects throughout Latin America. They help a wide variety of projects that provide clean water in Mexico and Nicaragua; support for disadvantaged children in Colombia, Peru, Bolivia and Argentina; turtle protection in Venezuela and reforestation in Peru.
Whilst travelling throughout South America in 2010 I was given the opportunity to visit and film some of LATA's projects in Peru and Argentina. I was able to see first hand the impact that LATA's work is having on communities and how it is changing people's lives. It was truely amazing.
LATA Foundation relies on the generous support of others in order to continue their great work.
This is the reason why Will and I are taking part in this run and asking you to kindly donate whatever you can to support this fantastic charity.
