Hello!

And a huge thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On October 9th I will be undertaking a huge personal challenge and will run the 13.1 miles of the Royal Parks half marathon in London to support the Children and young people under the care of CLIC Sargent via the work of the Veronica Claxton Memorial Fund.

The VCMF is a fund set up by family friend Luke Claxton in memory of his mum Veronica who passed away to cancer aged 50 in 2008. To date they have managed to donate over £190,000 to various good causes. More recently their fundraising has been solely focused on supporting CLIC Sargent via their team fundraising page (www.justgiving.com/teams/target250k), to date they have managed to raise over £110,000 of their quarter of a million target in just two years.

Inspired by the great work of my two brothers Grayson and Greig who have undertaken huge challenges of their own to support this campaign I thought it was time I made it a family treble! So on Sunday October 9th I will line up in London and complete my half marathon across and around 4 London parks.

I appreciate many people are fundraising nowadays for a variety of wonderful causes but if you have anything at all you can spare to help push me towards my target it would hugely appreciated by not only me but the children I'm aiming to help.

Thanks very much for your time

Martine x
