Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I am running the London Marathon on behalf of the Battery Hen Welfare Trust who let me foster my 6 lovely hens;- Balti, Biryani, Tikka, Bhuna, Korma and Masala.

The BHWT helps battery hens by rehoming as many ex battery hens as possible when they have come to the end of their careers as layers on commercial farms and by trying to educate consumers to buy only products that use British Free Range Eggs.

Many ex battery hens enjoy many years as much loved family pets and continue to lay dozens of free range eggs for their grateful new owners.

This will be my last ever marathon, the previous 5 have convinced me I won't make it to the next Olympics so I've decided to let the youngsters have a chance.
