This is my JustGiving page for the Dandelion Time charity; one of the two I'm raising money for by my marathon distance row.
Dandelion Time is a charity
we have benefited from as a family and I have offered to raise money
for them as a "thank you".
Andrew was struggling under the impact of
all the negative words and attitudes of his teachers at secondary
school. Ultimately this resulted in him not being able to attend school at all or even consider home schooling; his confidence was so badly
undermined.
He went to Dandelion Time over a number of months and, with
the support and help of Graham Carpenter and his team there, grew in
confidence and was able to accept a tutor from Dandelion Time coming to
our home to help him with english, something he would not have
considered before going there.
