As far as NY resolutions go, this may be my most challenging yet...to run 2013km during 2013!

The aim is simple - create as much awareness and funds for Claire House as possible. My pledge is to raise a minimum of £2013 over the course of the year. They've been a great source of support for my Nephew, Alfie Gill

I'll be averaging 40KM per week & will post updates to my FB and Just Giving page. I'll be using various Apps to evidence the distance covered, and will share photo's on a weekly basis.

To give perspective to this, I will be running the equivalent of one marathon every week, for the whole year! Over the course of ONE month, I will have run the equivalent distance of the width of the UK!

Throughout the year, I'll be entering 10K runs, and Half Marathon events to help create further awareness. If anyone cares to join me, then you're very welcome :)

In order for me to reach my 2013km over the year, I'll need to average 5.5km per day - every day - for the year!

With that in mind - I'll also be asking you to volunteer 1 run of 5.5km - in part, too experience a little bit of what I'll be going through (!) and - to help with the wider event and create much needed awareness and further sponsorship opportunities. Each volunteer must also raise / donate £5.50 towards the cause.

**The individual 5.5km runs DO NOT count towards my 2013km.
