The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm taking part in the Palace to Palace bike ride from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle again this year.  I must be mad - great cause but it means giving up the only lie in morning I have in the week (well to 8amish) so that I can get out and 'train', a very early start on the morning of the bike ride, saying no to any alcohol offered that weekend (until after the bike ride) and wearing fetching padded cycling shorts which block out the sun if I do not remain seated.

It's in aid of the Prince's Trust who support young people aged 13 to 30 who are unemployed or struggling at school and at risk of exclusion.  Many of the young people they help are in or leaving care facing issues such as homelessness or mental health issues or have been in trouble with the law.  They give vulnerable young people practical and financial support needed to stabilize their lives, helping develop self esteem and skills for work.  Your sponsorship will help change the lives of some of the hardest to reach young people in the UK.
