Royal Parks Half Marathon 2009 · 11 October 2009 ·

We help people diagnosed with a brain tumour. We aim to give everyone diagnosed access to the resources that will put them back in control. We enable brain tumour patients and carers to become resilient and to utilise brain tumour support resources from all providers to their full potential.

Story

This is my first Half Marathon!

As most of you will know, my brother Andrew suffers from a brain tumour.  We know first hand what a terrible effect this can have on a person's life.  Brainstrust supported Andrew in getting a second opinion on his condition - thankfully he is currently leading a fairly normal life but I want to do my bit for others so I have decided to run for Brainstrust, who can help people in a similar situation.  Please, please support me if you can.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Many many thanks.
