Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most will know, I started running quite some time ago as a way to keep fit (mainly so I didn't feel quite so bad about all that food and wine!)  Now, a year and a half later, it has really taken off.   Finding myself getting really into it, I decided it was time to challenge myself and set myself a goal.  After lots of persuasion from my gym instructor (and a lot of hesitation from me), I decided to sign up for the Windsor Half Marathon as my long term goal this year.  Having recently completed my first 10K i'm getting myself ready for the bigger challenge ahead.

Now, as the run draws closer, I want to do more than just run those miles for myself, but to do the run knowing I'll be helping others.  So, this is where I hand over to you and kindly ask you to dig deep and help me raise as much money as I can for Little Havens Children's Hospice.

Little Havens Children's Hospice is based in Essex and provides respite breaks, symptom control and end-of-life care for youngsters living with serious conditions and who are not expected to reach adulthood. The Charity aims to make their journey - and that of the family - as comfortable as possible, creating special memories along the way.  The Hospice costs £2.3 million each year to keep open and it could not continue without the kind donations it receives. 

So, to help me get across that finish line, please help me in raising as much as I can for such a worthwhile cause.
