We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Help beat cancer sooner.

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

  • On September 26th I'm taking part in the London Shine Night Walk on behalf of Mellor Community Choir.  I'll be attempting the half-marathon to raise money to help Cancer Research UK fund its life-saving work.  Mellor is a village in Stockport, well-known for its community spirit, its generosity and its talented residents!  Already famous for Mellor Open Gardens,  it now has its own ladies' choir and we are thrilled to have been given the opportunity to take part in the Cancer Research UK Festival of Brass and Voices.  And so the choir will be singing out against cancer in the Royal Albert Hall  in November and this walk is part of our fundraising effort.  Please support us by making a donation.

Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there.Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor us..

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.

  • NB  Unfortunately even well-behaved springer spaniels are barred from charity night walks but Dyson is crucial to the training programme...
