This year Rachel, Laurel, Alison and Lisa will be running the Adidas Women's 5k Challenge for Dame Vera Lynn's School for Parents.
This school is for Children with Cerebral Palsy and Rachel's daughter Harriet attends once a week on a Friday. It not only supports Harriet in her early years but also the family. Harriet loves to attend and enjoys the classroom activities and seeing her friends. In the School for Parents the principles are applied to the families' daily lives at school, at home, and at play. The children are taught with and through parents and incorporated into the children’s routines at home.
Harriet smiles when she comes to the end of the long drive up to the school as she knows she will have a fun morning! It is such a worthy cause.
