BHF - Viking Bike Ride · 9 October 2011 ·

The Ear Foundation helped fund the first cochlear implants for deaf children in the UK. We now support children, young people & adults who use a variety of modern hearing technologies. Offering independent advice & activites to bridge the gap between clinics where they're fitted and home where used.

Story

Hola!

So, I spend most of my time making coffee for the great folks who continue to visit Stray's every week. I'm usually full of caffeine and raring to go! And I'm fortunate enough to have two great ears that work perfectly!

That's why I'm riding the Viking Challenge this year - to help the work of The Ear Foundation.

Please help me to help them by sponsoring me. It's a 31 mile off-road bike ride across fields, bridleways, ploughed fields, small rivers etc. There's a bit of bike carrying and a few linking roads - so if you fancy joining me, please contact me via my website and we can hook up. And please pray that it's dry 'cos in the wet, it's a good 4 to 5 hours of muudy bums!

At the moment I'm being joined by my mate, biking superstar (& coffee fan) Ron and also fellow Stray's director Lizzie Mack (my sis).

Either way, whether donating or joining the ride, thanks for your contributuion and I'll takes a few pics and post them when we're done.

Adios!

Mat
