Byte Night: Mathew Crake

Byte Night Thames Valley 2016 · 7 October 2016 ·
Thank you for visiting my page in support of Action for Children. This will be my 1st year supporting Byte Night, the UK's largest one night event seeing 1500 people from the business community raising money & awareness for homeless & abused children. A great cause!
So, where does the money go?
The money raised helps support young homeless children, particularly those that are forced to leave the local authority care system and end up with nowhere to go. They end up on the streets; they get exploited; they turn to drugs to forget; they turn to prostitution to pay for the drugs. It's a downward spiral. I know this because I have spoken to them. They are children. They often run away from abusive homes. They do not want to be homeless. And Action for Children gathers them up, cares for them, helps them, and gives them the support they need to get their lives back on track. That's why we do Byte Night.
So how can you help? - 50p, £1, £5, £10 or £20 - it all adds up, please sponsor what you can to help make a positive change.
Thank You - Mat
