In memory of Margaret Reith

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In June I will be scaling the dizzy heights of Britain's 3 highest mountains - Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon - in just 24 hours to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society.

Alzheimer's is a debilitating neurological condition which gets progressively worse with time. Individuals experience memory loss and lose the ability to communicate and reason.

In 6 years' time one million people will have dementia, including Alzheimer's.

Last year my nana lost her battle with the condition. My challenge is dedicated to her memory.

Just £5 can pay for a person to attend a half hourly session at a monthly Dementia Cafe.

Thank you for your support.
