ACT the Actor's Children's Trust provides grants and support for actors' children up to the age of 21. ACT helps 350 children and young people, from babies to uni students. Many have additional needs. In a precarious low-paid profession, ACT's grants can make a big difference to families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So.......

Managed it. Just.

Seventeen miles in and everything was going fine. It looked like I might even beat lat year's time. Then my left knee went (an injury that I had not had before......but one that I will surely mention again...) and the next nine miles were agony.

After a bit of road side physio from the brilliant St John's Ambulance people I managed to get to the end by walking / limping very....very....slowly.

I went all a bit Steve Redgrave at the end (not the first time I've compared myself to an Olympic Gold Medalist) and said if I ever consider doing a marathon again then people have the right to shoot me.

Two days later....the legs better....the knee less swollen.......I think I might just do it again after all.

Thanks again for taking the time to visit my page.

Thanks for all your support.

Cheers

Matt

xxx
